The DigiLocker service launched by the Government of India aims to provide a secure dedicated personal electronic space for storing documents of resident Indian citizens. The service is intended to minimize the use of physical documents and to provide authenticity of the e-documents and to provide secure access to government issued documents.
One of our clients in the DigiLocker Project is the Directorate Skill Development, for whom we developed a solution that helps students download a digitally signed copy of certificates. We also notably developed an API to help with student admissions.
As a consequence of our work, the Directorate Skill Development—now MPCVET (Madhya Pradesh Council for Vocational Education and Training)—provides all student marksheets (NCVT & SCVT) digitally in their respective DigiLocker.
